2. Do NOT have other people in
pictures with you. Viewers will always
wonder if these people are your "ex's"
...even if it is your brother / sister or child.

3. Unless you are skilled in the use
of an image editing program, do NOT
try to crop people out of your pictures
...bits of hair, faces or hands..
look odd...and then we go back to
#2.

4. Do NOT scan copyright protected
portraits (basically, this is any image
taken by a professional photographer)
and post them on the internet. It is illegal
...and by doing so, you've just provided
enough evidence for successful prosecution
and possible monetary damages if a copyright owner decides to take legal action.

4. Do NOT post pictures of yourself
drinking alcohol, in a bar or partying.

5. Do NOT post pictures of yourself partially clothed.

6. DO put some thought into writing your online profile. Keep in mind who your target market is and write specifically to pique their interest!

7. DO use a dictionary and thesaurus when writing your profile...then spell check your document before posting!
